The animal, fungi, and plant world refers to the natural process of renewal and regrowth that occurs within these organisms. This includes the revitalisation and restoration of their physiological function, allowing them to restore vitality and continue the cycle of life. This eco- collection is inspired by the concept of the transformative power of nature in restoring our minds, bodies, and souls. The designs seek to evoke a sense of renewal and vitality by capturing the essence of nature‘s beauty. The eco-line “Rejuvenation” brings true changes and improvements through organic low impact materials and natural fabric finishes such as natural dyes. This collection creates a new connection with the once lost nature. The nature inspired materials, shapes, and colours lets you immerse in the beautiful and mystical world of animals, plants, and fungi. The Rejuvenation collection is traceable, trustable, and sustainable in every thread.
The chosen materials are Belgian linen, organic pima cotton, Tencel, Lotus-fiber fabric, luffa and roots. The roots are sourced by the company "rootfull" founded by Zena Holloway. All materials are certified with trustable eco-certifications and chosen very thoughtful to create a truly sustainable collection. I dyed the fabrics with natural materials to minimise the chemical and water use.
By aligning with the UN SDGs and implementing sustainable practices, the "Rejuvenation" eco-line demonstrates its commitment to creating wearable artworks while minimising its environmental impact and contributing to a more sustainable future for the fashion industry and the planet.
To achieve these goals, the eco-line implements various strategies, such as utilising sustainable and traceable materials, implementing natural dyeing and finishing processes. Another important aspect is to minimise the water and energy consumption and just work with suppliers which meet the requirements.
