MAD DAISY presents French Art to Wear: Lumiere de Guillaumin, a womenswear collection that transforms French Impressionism into contemporary art-to-wear for the AW26 fashion week season. Each look is conceived as an individual work, inviting the viewer into a dialogue between museum heritage and modern city life.
Inspired by the paintings of Jean-Baptiste Armand Guillaumin from the Petit Palais in Paris, the collection is dedicated to the inner strength and emotional depth of women. Rather than reproducing artworks literally, MAD DAISY uses advanced digital processes and proprietary techniques to interpret Guillaumin’s light, colour vibration and painterly depth as original textile universes. Clothing becomes a wearable gallery: a space where art history, emotion and everyday movement coexist.
The silhouettes are relaxed yet intentional, designed to honour diverse bodies and personalities. Airy dresses echo the fluidity of brushstrokes; sculpted suits reinterpret landscape structures in abstracted tailoring; translucent layers and signature prints create the sense of standing inside a luminous canvas. Natural fibres – silk, linen, cotton and viscose – are chosen for their tactility, longevity and comfort, supporting a considered, seasonless wardrobe rather than fast-fashion turnover.
As an art-to-wear label, MAD DAISY positions Lumiere de Guillaumin as an ongoing cultural project, not a one-off seasonal drop. The collection is designed to live both on fashion runways and within cultural institutions, restoring an emotional connection between museum collections and wider audiences and strengthening the historic dialogue between art and fashion.
Debuting at New York Fashion Week (Flying Solo Show, 16 February 2026) and subsequently presented at London Fashion Week (Fashion Scout, 21 February 2026) and Paris Fashion Week (Flying Solo Show, 5 March 2026), the project aims to demonstrate how fashion can function as a respectful yet innovative reinterpretation of cultural heritage – accessible, wearable and deeply human.
