Taiwan's ancient name "The Khun Island" is based on a very Well-know folklore that depicts the conflict between the 5 Grand Deities and the Child Deity. The Wangye are Li, Chih, Wu, Jhu and Fan : " Five Lords" deity guarding Taiwan's Islands is well-known.
Expressing the tasks undertaken by the Wang Ye through hand-drawn totems depicting the elements of gold, wood, water, fire, and earth, then transforming them into digital art. By utilizing digital printing on fabrics, incorporating them into designs for both theatrical and fashion apparel, traditional and trendy elements are blended, extending into Taiwan's unique fashion cultural symbols.
The Fashion Design showcased original Eastern classic mythological symbols, transformed and recreated through digital printing technology and embroidered lace craftsmanship. By combining traditional and technological elements, as well as blending fashion with rebellion, they created a creative style that knows no boundaries, fostering a fashion culture that transcends borders. This presentation of clash in fashion pilgrimage aesthetics allows contemporary fashion aesthetics to emerge from their own local culture, presenting a unique attitude towards life and aesthetics to the world.
With its bold contrasts, the event presented a clash of beauty in a fashionable pilgrimage, highlighting both the traditional allure of Taiwanese beliefs and the modern flair of fashion.
